Former Emmerdale actor Tom Lister has spoken out against slavery in Britain in support of Anti-Slavery Day, October 18.

Charity Hope for Justice aims to identify and rescue victims of human trafficking in the UK, and Lister commented 'It's just devastating that more than 2000 modern day slaves were found in our country in a single year. They can be anyone from children to grandparents, and they're exploited in heart-breaking ways. Hope for Justice is doing amazing work to recover victims that would simply never see the light of day'.
